The Lafon Center Table sits low at the centre of the room. Designed by Christopher Noto, it pairs a hand-cast bronze base with a wide parchment top: two of the studio's foundational materials, brought together in quiet homage to the discipline of mid-century French furniture.
The base is cast in lost-wax bronze and finished by hand in Dark Bronze or Antique Bronze. The top is hand-applied parchment, prepared and laid in panels in Ivory, Grey, Brown, Black, or Jade. The natural variation in the hide is part of the pleasure of the piece; no two tops are alike.
